Our Raised Strawberry beds.
I built these raised beds over 5 years ago and they are still holding up very well.  I filled them with landscape soil from Fernwood Nursery, and the soil mixture is still working well.  It never gets hard and with organic nutrients, the plants are healthy today.
We first planted Christmas Tree seedlings which we transplanted to our farm in Lawrence County. Then we planted 200 strawberry plants, and every year we thin them out and sell the excess plants to whomever wants them.
We first carefully pull up the existing strawberry plants, put them in buckets with water.  Then I turn the soil over with a shovel and then replant the strawberries evenly spaced.  We put an organic mixture around the roots which pulls nutrients from the soil to the roots.
We transplanted some into our backyard raised garden bed.  We have over 350 plants that will produce abundantly.

My wife loves growing Roses.
This year was a good year for roses. We have five roses along the fence.  We have others scattered around the house.

Wild Multiflora Rose Bush
I Found this rose when I was cleaning out the Memory Garden in Lawrenceburg, TN.  It was hiding in some other grass.  It had been overlooked and weed trimmed down several times.
I took it home and found it a new home.  Research says it is an invasive plant that takes over an area. We will see....

An Oak Tree Transplanted.
In early spring, my client wanted this oak tree moved from her side yard to the front yard.  I said, let me get my shovel.
After digging a 3 ft wide x 2 ft deep hole and clipping all the roots around the edge, then digging a new hole in the front yard, the tree was transplanted.  I made sure all the roots had dirt packed around them and gave it plenty of water.
In Late Spring, Yeah, the tree has plenty of healthy leaves.

A Memory Garden Cleaned out.
This memory garden is located at 228 South Military Ave in Lawrenceburg TN.
The garden was so grown up that you could not easily walk through it.  The Clients are extremely happy!

Rock Step Make Over.
A client asked me to cover his rock steps with composite decking. The challenge is that composite decking requires a sub structure to mount it to, floor joist. None were available so I had to generate a sculpture of composite decking.
First I took dimensions from every direction, then created a cardboard pattern.
Then I started cutting the decking according to its molded shape, mitering the corners, and using 3-inch screws to hold the pieces together.
Using scrap material, I placed support runners between the rock steps and under the decking.  The result is firm steps.
After some cosmetic cleanup and adding new handrails, we have a beautiful set of steps.  Happy Customer!

A super strong Outdoor Swing Frame
That does not move when swinging.  It is simple to build.  Make sure the concrete hole is not only deep, but wide as well.  The width of the concrete helps stabilizes the framing.

Notice the garden area behind the swing.  The black fence keeps dogs and rabbits out of the garden.
Can't stop the squirls, cats or birds.

Cherry Tree Cut Down
And new Evergreens Planted,

What came first the cherry tree, fence or evergreens?
The Cherry Tree was first,
The Fence was second, and the evergreens third.
End Result, Tree Cut, Fence Changed, Trees Growing and New Furniture being made from the Cherry wood.
