Floating Shelves, Custom Built
I built these floating shelves from 3/4" furniture grade plywood. I carefully measured the customers rooms where the shelves were to be installed. After cutting each piece, gluing and screwing them together, and sanding to a smooth finish, I delivered the shelves to the customer who check fitted them in place. Happy Customer. They chose to paint them themselves. .... CALL ME to custom fit yours! |

Repaired a Wood Watch
This is the smallest project I have worked on. It is a real working watch made out of wood. In the middle picture, the pegs that hold the watch band on had broken off. I used a small piece of hardwood flooring and shaped it to fit around the watch. Using my smallest tools and an exacto knife, I fitted and glued the new pegs in place. Happy Customer! |

Repairing an Electric Guitar
A friend of mine had an electric guitar that had a pick-up holder broken. I purchased some Delrin Plastic and using my band saw, drill, scroll saw and a hand sander, I shaped a new holder to the guitar body and mounted the pickup in place. The guitar now sounds great again! |

End Tables made from Cherry
My grandson Nathaniel and myself cut some sections out of a cherry slab that came a tree cut from our property. We cut them to random lengths, removed the bark from the edges, used a large sander to smooth the rough surfaces, used a hand sander to make them smoother, then used polyurethane to make them shiny, and put legs under them. Happy customer, my grandson. .... I have lots more cherry lumber.... |

Wild Multiflora Rose Bush
I Found this rose when I was cleaning out the Memory Garden in Lawrenceburg, TN. It was hiding in some other grass. It had been overlooked and weed trimmed down several times. I took it home and found it a new home. Research says it is an invasive plant that takes over an area. We will see.... |

A New Sign Mounted for the Rotary Club
The old sign was outdated and faded as you can see. George Vrailas had a new sign painted and asked me to mount it in the Rotary Shelter in Maury Count Park in Columbia. The new sign looked bland so I built a frame out of 2x4 lumber and painted it to match the color of the Rotary Shelter. |

Pegboard 4 Ft Wide x 6 Ft High
My client has a kids club business. She wanted a set of pegboards to decorate in the main classroom for the kids to put pegs into wherever they could. I used furniture grade plywood and drilled 3/4-inch holes for the 3/4-inch dowel rod pegs. She also wanted floating shelves available to mount to the pegboard. Another happy Client! |

An Oak Tree Transplanted.
In early spring, my client wanted this oak tree moved from her side yard to the front yard. I said, let me get my shovel. After digging a 3 ft wide x 2 ft deep hole and clipping all the roots around the edge, then digging a new hole in the front yard, the tree was transplanted. I made sure all the roots had dirt packed around them and gave it plenty of water. In Late Spring, Yeah, the tree has plenty of healthy leaves. |

Antiques Cleaned and Structured
My client asked me to restructure these items. The dresser was very week and even had termite damage. I rebuilt all the drawers and the internal drawer slides and other supports. The back had some termite damage. I also built a new top. The window mirror just needed cleaned and we added coat racks to the sides and bottom. The Piano Stool had really bad finish. I carefully sanded all the old finish away and added new black walnut stain. |

Rock Step Make Over.
A client asked me to cover his rock steps with composite decking. The challenge is that composite decking requires a sub structure to mount it to, floor joist. None were available so I had to generate a sculpture of composite decking. First I took dimensions from every direction, then created a cardboard pattern. Then I started cutting the decking according to its molded shape, mitering the corners, and using 3-inch screws to hold the pieces together. Using scrap material, I placed support runners between the rock steps and under the decking. The result is firm steps. After some cosmetic cleanup and adding new handrails, we have a beautiful set of steps. Happy Customer! |

Bathroom Accessory Improvements
We had an old mirror that had some blemishes around the edges and one corner cracked. I had some extra 1x4 wood and made this frame to cover the imperfections. I made a deep drawer medicine cabinet in the wall and made a new door with mirror. I made the cabinets over and around the commode. We also put in a new engineered floor covering that looks like marble. |

A super strong Outdoor Swing Frame
That does not move when swinging. It is simple to build. Make sure the concrete hole is not only deep, but wide as well. The width of the concrete helps stabilizes the framing. Notice the garden area behind the swing. The black fence keeps dogs and rabbits out of the garden. Can't stop the squirls, cats or birds. |
